Economia circolare a Km 0: bio-plastics for LIFE

E’ tutta Messinese e Siciliana questa realtà che crea economia circolare a Km 0, ovvero dallo scarto alle pellet di bioplastica prodotte dalla fabbrica zero di Roccavaldina (ME) con il marchio “Ecobuddy “!! Grazie al progetto LIFE RESTART, Reuse of bEeer SpenT grAin foR bioplasTics, cofinanziato dall’Unione Europea nell’ambito del Programma LIFE (LIFE21-ENV-IT-LIFE RESTART/101074314) in cui UNIME ha sviluppato bioplastiche dagli scarti della lavorazione della birra (trebbie) forniti dal Birrificio Messina. Vasi, tappi, forchette, capsule da caffè, gioielli, oggetti realizzabili con stampa 3D, etc.. sono i primi prototipi realizzati che rappresentano un’alternativa ecologica alla plastica a base fossile non biodegradabile. Loro bio-degradano in pochi mesi. Insomma: basta inquinamento da plastica!
