Dai murales alle insegne ai cartelloni: il paesaggio linguistico di Messina

La mostra avrà come oggetto vari tipi di scritte esposte in giro per la città, istituzionali (cartelli, targhe…), commerciali (cartelloni, insegne…) e “abusivi” (murales e scarabocchi vari). Attraverso la fotografia, punterà l’attenzione degli spettatori su questi esempi di italiano scritto, normalmente trascurati e subiti. La guida alla lettura proposta dai curatori, poi, ne illustrerà le peculiarità formali, ma rivelerà anche le strategie comunicative che le ispirano e i modi con cui la lingua interagisce con la superficie che la ospita e, più in generale, il luogo in cui è collocata, divenendo parte del paesaggio urbano.
