Bioplastiche “100% green” ottenute dagli scarti agrolimentari

Si possono ottenere bioplastiche da scarti agroalimentari, biodegradabili tramite compostaggio, e che quindi non inquineranno piu’ il nostro pianeta? La risposta è si!

Grazie al progetto LIFE RESTART, Reuse of bEeer SpenT grAin foR bioplasTics, cofinanziato dall’Unione Europea nell’ambito del Programma LIFE (LIFE21-ENV-IT-LIFE RESTART/101074314) https://www.unime.it/ricerca/progetti-finanziati/progetti-life/life-restart in cui UNIME sta sviluppando bioplastiche dagli scarti della lavorazione della birra ( trebbie) forniti dal Birrificio Messina. Vasi, tappi, distanziatori etc sono i primi oggetti realizzati con queste bioplastiche che rappresentano un’alternativa ecologica alla plastica a base fossile non biodegradabile. Insomma: basta inquinamento da plastica!
