MEDNIGHT’s ultimate goal is that young people and society in general are attracted to the research career and science. To do this, we will define and value Mediterranean science and work with partners from eight different countries: Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Cyprus, Türkiye, Tunisia and Belgium. Moreover a ninth country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, joins MEDNIGHT as Associated Partner. Funded by the MSCA, European Union.

Call for Schools
The “Researchers back to school” activity brings researchers from different areas of knowledge back to school. Through sessions of approximately 60 minutes, students can interact with researchers first-hand, without leaving their own center. The main objective of this activity is to provide close references that awaken the scientific vocation of students.
Call for Researchers
Under the common umbrella of Mediterranean Science, we make this call for researchers, research centers and universities. Our goal is researchers and scientists to “leave” the lab and bring their research to the public on beaches, central squares, school classrooms, public areas, Social Media, TV shows and other friendly formats.
Tales from MEDNIGHT
The Tales from the MEDNIGHT is a literary contest of short stories of scientific topic. The winning works will be played in informational activities and published in a book translated to 6 languages. The main objective is to approach Mediterranean science, in a pleasant and entertaining way, focusing in
children.
Mediterranean Science Team
The Science Team is a symbol, with which we want to bring the relevance of science to the general public. For this reason, we formed a team of 11 “players”. Each member of the Mediterranean Science Team will receive a T-shirt, similar to those of the football players, at the Gala that will take place in Brussels in March 2025.
