Mednight Unites Continents for the 11F

In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11F), the Mednight initiative brought together a global network of activities spanning Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia.

‘Tales from Mednight’ Junior Edition

The Mednight initiative released Tales from Mednight – Junior Edition, a book designed to introduce children under 12 to Mediterranean science through the winning stories of the Tales 4th Literary Contest.

Mediterranean Science Team 2025

MEDNIGHT announced the 12 scientists of the 2025 Mediterranean Science Team and the universities recognized by the MU-GEP initiative, with 11 of the selected scientists being women.

The Marie Curies of the Mediterranean

The exhibition honors female scientists, highlighting their journeys through Marie Curie fellowships. Displayed across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America, it aims to inspire youth and promote women in science.

Science at schools international meeting

The 6th International Meeting with Schools connected over 800 students from 45 schools across Greece, France, Tunisia, Italy, and Turkey with young researchers, promoting scientific exchange and inspiration.

Science Communication Workshop

On April 30, nearly 80 researchers from across Europe and the Mediterranean came together online for a dynamic and interactive training workshop aimed at preparing them to participate in MEDNIGHT 2025

MEDNIGHT partners meeting in Brussels
