Orientation project for primary schools

Department of Political and Legal Sciences – University of Messina

On 30th  May 2023, in the Campagna Room of the Department of Political and Legal Sciences of the University of Messina, the fourth meeting of the Orientajunior project was held, organized by Maria Francesca Tommasini and aimed at primary school children, and held this year in collaboration with the MEDNIGHT project.

During this second meeting, 120 pupils of the Drago – Principe di Piemonte Institute, accompanied by the teacher Alessandro Fazio, listened to the reading of the story “The pharaoh problem”, contained in the volume “Tales of MEDNIGHT”.

Later Enza Pelleriti involved them in a thematic workshop entitled ” The history of Messina through the inscriptions of memories on the monuments and walls of the city “.

After the snack, held in the garden of the Department, the children took a guided tour of the exhibitions set up in the Borsellino, Falcone and Cingari classrooms of the Department, and received a booklet of puzzle games as a gift, specially developed for them with the graphics and themes of the MEDNIGHT project.
