Fishes are the first vertebrates from which it is possible tracing a common thread that, passing through all classes, reaches humankind. Phylogenetic cell characterization is useful to understand the shape and function of cells. This proposal aims to underline the importance of the fishes phylogenetic study in scientific research, particularly applied to the study of cellular evolution about anatomical apparatus and systems. A collection of organ models and tissues slides will be equipped with QR codes linked to macroscopic and microscopic imaging of the corresponding fish. This experience will allow a better public approach to the fishes biology, trying to stimulate in the participants a sense of curiosity and fascination.
