The antioxidant (super)power of fruit

Free radicals are highly reactive molecules, and although they are necessary to perform certain functions and maintain our health, their production over time can have negative effects on our organism. The antioxidant power of certain foods, such as some fruits, helps to maintain the levels of free radicals in healthy proportions.
In this workshop we will test which fruits contain this antioxidant power through an experiment with Betadine, a product frequently used as a disinfectant and antiseptic that contains molecular iodine.
This workshop aims to make the user understand:
That acquiring bad habits leads to problems for the metabolism due to the accumulation of free radicals.
That vitamins are good for the body because of their antioxidant power.
That antioxidant power has the ability to eliminate free radicals.
That fruits contain vitamins A, C and E.
