Mediterranean Women for Health exhibition

The exhibition ‘Mediterranean Women for Health’ is on display in the central hall of the Castellón Hospital Consortium (Region of Valencia, Spain) and will be open to the public unit next Firiday 2 June.

The exhibition was inaugurated on Friday 12 May in an event attended by the researcher Ángela Nieto, winner of the Jaume I Prize and now an honorary doctorate from the Universitat Jaume I.

It is a tribute to the women of the Mediterranean who have contributed to improving the health and quality of life of people in areas such as research, health care, teaching and volunteering. Through 26 canvases, it presents the little-known faces outside their countries of origin of women of the 20th and 21st century who deserve to be made visible for their extraordinary work, for having made significant contributions and for having broken the mould in their respective professional fields.

The exhibition was inaugurated last Tuesday 11th April in the exhibition hall of the Casa de la Ciència of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), Valencia. It now arrives at the Consorcio Hospitalario Provincial de Castellón on loan from INCLIVA.
