Kick off meeting

Η εκδήλωση αυτή οργανώθηκε από τον συντονιστή του έργου, τη SciCo Greece, και πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Ελλάδα, στην αρχή του έργου, στο νησί της Λέσβου, ένα νησί που βρίσκεται στο Αιγαίο (Μεσόγειος Θάλασσα) και φιλοξενεί το Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου. Η εκδήλωση αυτή περιελάμβανε ένα διήμερο workshop, το οποίο λειτούργησε ως εναρκτήρια εκδήλωση του έργου, έφερε κοντά τα μέλη των συμμετεχόντων φορέων και ξεκίνησε την προώθηση του MEDNIGHT και της Μεσογειακής Επιστήμης. Τα workshops αφορούσαν την οικοδόμηση ενός κοινού οράματος και στρατηγικής, την επεξήγηση και τη συνεκπαίδευση των εταίρων σχετικά με τις διακρατικές δραστηριότητες, τα σχέδια διάδοσης και διαχείρισης και άλλα κοινά θέματα. Επιπλέον, συμμετείχαν ερευνητές από διάφορα τμήματα του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου, οι οποίοι παρουσίασαν το έργο τους στα ερευνητικά τους πεδία.
