GEOLOGICAL ROUTE THROUGH THE CITY OF ALICANTE

A route to discover the geological secrets of the city of Alicante. In collaboration with Alicante City Council, the University of Alicante is organising a route that will start at Santa Bárbara Castle, pass through La Ereta Park, the slopes of Mount Benacantil, Santa María Church Square, the Explanada promenade and will end at Postiguet beach.

UA teachers and students will accompany you during the tour to provide explanations about the geological heritage of Alicante with a scientific dissemination approach. An initiative that aims to show how science is present in every detail of our daily lives, in this case touring the urban core of the city of Alicante.
