Digital Archive on the Refugee and Migration Crisis in the Aegean Sea

The activity aims to contribute to the digital literacy of students and to familiarise them with the social science research. Members and collaborators of the digital archive on the refugees’ relocation in the Aegean islands will discuss the stimuli that led to the creation of the Archive, the method by which the Archive was set up, the selection and classification of its content and the intentions of the researchers and archivists who collaborated in its creation. Students will search for material in the Archive, see digital tools in action, and be challenged to
approach the refugee issue as one of the great, complex issues of our time.
