From February 22nd to 24th, the fifth edition of the “Festival of Scientific Culture” took place at the “Caminiti Trimarchi” high school in Giardini Naxos (ME). This year the theme of the Festival was “Communicating Science”.

MEDNIGHT project researchers participated in the Festival by involving students in roundtables and debates on science communication and in a series of workshops, experiments and demonstrations.

During the second day of the festival, MEDNIGHT researchers proposed various experiments and demonstrations to the students, including the presence of microplastics in food of animal origin, the theme of ecofeminism, the behavior of domestic animals, animal breeding and the main characteristics of the fauna of the Strait of Messina.
