The organization Science Communication – SciCo, in collaboration with the University of the Aegean, is celebrating the Mediterranean Researcher’s Night in Mytilene.

On September 30th, from 10:00 to 13:00, the University will welcome more than 530 students who will actively participate in the workshops of its Departments.

During the afternoon, activities for the general public will be held at the Sappho Square. The event, which will start at 18:00, will involve all the departments of the University of the Aegean and will cover a wide range of scientific areas and activities.

At the same time, there will be a European Corner with the support of the Europe Direct North Aegean office, a digital exhibition of Women in Science, and street experiments “Mind the Lab”. In addition, the documentary “The Mednight expedition, the ports of science. Part 2” will be screened at the Mytilene theatre group space “OI ASTEGOI”, in English.

At 20.15 there will be a welcoming from the organisers and a presentation of the Migrimage EU project. The event will end with a concert given by the intercultural music and dance group RAD at 21.00 at the Sappho Square.
