How does social anthropology study contemporary reality?
With reference to two studies on Medically Assisted Reproduction and the Covid-19 pandemic conducted at the Family and Kinship Studies Laboratory, this action aims to highlight the ways in which current issues are approached from the perspective of social anthropology. Issues of method and research data analysis will be presented and discussed through concrete examples and participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with the process by which a research is designed.
The workshop will be held for schools, at the ATE building in Mytilene.
