On June 3, 2025, the Health and Research game was presented to healthcare professionals during the 5th Occitan Meeting on Pediatric and Congenital Cardiology (ROCPC), held at Mas des Canelles in Castanet-Tolosan, near Toulouse. This year’s edition focused on the theme “Supporting the transition to adulthood.”

Dr. Yves Dulac, coordinator of the Marfan Reference Centre at CHU Toulouse, introduced the Mednight initiative and shared how the game has been successfully integrated into therapeutic patient education (ETP) sessions. As part of his talk, “Transition to adulthood,” Dr. Dulac emphasized how the game helps young patients better understand their condition, treatment, and the importance of clinical research and healthy habits.

In a dedicated workshop titled “What tools for transition?”, Morgane Espitalier further illustrated the practical use of the Mednight game in ETP, reinforcing its role as a valuable educational tool to empower adolescents as they move toward adult care.

🎲 The Health and Research game was showcased as an innovative tool for supporting the transition of young patients with chronic heart conditions into adulthood.
