This is one of the transactivities of the MEDNIGHT project, performed at the same time by all the partners.

The italian room has been arranged and coordinated by Marina Trimarchi, and it is estimated that more than 400 students have attended to the webinar online, while 50 students were in presence at the Borghese Faranda Institute.

Six researchers have introduced their research activities, also describing to the students their personal experiences also from a personal point of view.

Three of them (Luca Nalbone, Annalisa Amato and Silvia Carbone) participated in presence at the Borghese Faranda Institute, while the remainig three (Alessio Alesci, Alessia Ruggeri and Dario Milone) participated online.

The webinar began with the intervention of Luca Nalbone (“Small plastics, big troubles).

 Then Annalisa Amato discussed the topic “From the stable to the cheese: the contribution of research”, followed by Alessio Alesci, who described the “Internal Defense System of Metazoans: A Million-Year Journey Through Adaptation, Conservation, and Evolution”.

Then Alessia Ruggeri described her experience as an engineer during the talk: “Roads, challenges and dreams: my experience as an engineer in safety and maintenance”, and Dario Milone introduced to the students the topic: “From the Clinic to the Track: A Journey into the Art of Movement Analysis”. Finally Silvia Carbone closes the conference by talking about “Professionals in search of emotions”
