Miguel Hernández University researcher Laura García attended the Alonai School in Santa Pola on Tuesday, February 11. The students enjoyed an educational talk about food science and technology, an area in which she specializes. The talk, which was given on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, showed the girls that there are female role models in science and motivated them to pursue a scientific career.
