MUDIC scheduled a week full of talks by researchers on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. During the week of February 11, four female researchers from the Miguel Hernández University visited the Polythecnic School of Orihuela to give talks to students from nearby educational centers.

On Monday, February 10, researcher Alicia Dobón gave a talk on how to improve the quality of pepper crops.

On Tuesday, February 11, researcher Marina Gálvez, valued goat farming for milk production.

On Wednesday, February 12, researcher Marina Giménez gave a presentation on how artichokes can be a key crop in a food revolution.

On Thursday, February 13, researcher Clara María Muñoz shared her research aimed at improving the valorization of food products with bioactive compounds.

These activities inspired girls to pursue a scientific career, showing female researchers as role models for younger girls.
