The “Mediterranean Researcher’s Night” – Mednight is back! This year, the activities of the “Mediterranean Researcher’s Night” will peak on the island of Lesvos on 30 September, a day when this celebration of science will take place in more than 400 European cities, such as Valencia, Messina, Istanbul, Alicante, Orihuela, Torrevieja, Nicosia and Cairo.

As a precursor to what will take place on September 30th, a series of actions by Science Communication – SciCo, with the participation of Aegean University and the support of the Lesvos Chamber, has been scheduled for Thursday 28th July, from 18:00 to 21:30 at the Lesvos Chamber.

– The psychology of the consumer for food choice (Department of Food Science and Nutrition)

– Design and manufacture of secure smart devices for the preservation of material cultural heritage-PSmart (Department of Cultural Technology and Communication)

– Mind the Lab: street experiments

– Mediterranean Faces of Science

– Solar observation

In the morning of the same day (09:00-10:30) a clean-up of Panagiouda coast will take place.
