The “Mediterranean” question: tradition, changes, perspective

Showing pictures and images all around the space available, the Phd students in political sciences want to present the results of their student conference on the Mediterranean question. The event intends to privilege the approach between different methodologies to open an exchange of ideas on the following topics: Mediterranean, between the old and the new European socio-political area; Integration, inclusion, assimilation, and multiculturalism; Mediterranean Geo-philosophy; Historical breaks in modern and contemporary times in the Mediterranean: new historiographical perspectives; Old and new global players in the Mediterranean area; Freedom and security in the Mediterranean area; Ancient and modern constitutional processes in the Mediterranean; Mediterranean, between crisis and cooperation; Mediterranean environment: social, legal and economic impacts and dynamics; Art, religion, myth, and symbol in the Mediterranean political context.
