The link between fish consumption during pregnancy and maternal and neonatal outcomes
The results of two studies will be presented. The first study analyzes the association between monthly fish consumption, categorized by type, and gestational and neonatal outcomes. The second study compares pregnant women enrolled ten years ago with those enrolled one year ago, highlighting statistically significant differences between the two cohorts regarding dietary habits, with a specific focus on the consumption of fresh and frozen fish. Additionally, a questionnaire will be administered to pregnant women and new mothers to gather information on their eating habits. The objective is to understand their consumption patterns and determine if they follow a healthy and balanced diet.
