The Law and the Sea: Behavioural Rules and Sanctioning Issues

Who among us has not been on a boat at least once during his/her life? Nevertheless, knowing the navigation rules is not so obvious. Just as it is not so obvious to know that our legislator has recently introduced the crime of “nautical homicide”. The aim of this activity is to sensitise the public on the importance of knowing the sea, its rules and, in case of their violation, the corresponding sanctions. To this purpose, criminal law and navigation law combine, challenging everyone with a quiz on how to behave at sea.
