Sustainable life-style: when pro-environmental behaviors preserve our future EXCERPT
Climate change and extreme environmental events (such as floods and fires) influence people’s well-being, with an increase in anxiety and worries about the future of the planet (defined by psychologists as “eco-anxiety”). But to what extent eco-anxiety can activate commitment and pro-environmental lifestyles in people?
Through a questionnaire proposed online during the event, attention will be paid to eco-sustainable behaviors (such as purchasing or eating) to assess the differences between generations (young/adults) in concerns for the environment and in perceiving that individual pro-environmental actions are crucial for the future and collective well-being.
