Sustainable intensification of legume-based forage systems in semi-arid Mediterranean areas (FORAGE-MED)

The objective of the project is to develop innovative strategies to increase sustainability and resiliance of agri-livestock systems in the Mediterranean environments. By integrating field experiments, crop modelling and remote sensing, FORAGE-MED aims to enhance the role of forage legumes, both in intercropping and crop rotation, to improve soil fertility and feeding value in Mediterranean environment.
