Matter and light: nanomaterials in the future technologies
The need to be able to communicate increasingly quickly over large distances has led to the development of devices, such as optical fibres, which exploit light to transport information. In this scenario, nanostructures occupy an important position in the development of new devices, increasingly smaller and more efficient, capable of exploiting the interaction with light for multiple applications in fields including: precision medicine, agriculture intelligent, optoelectronics and telecommunications.
