How to Do Science Without Setting Foot in the Laboratory

When it comes to science, almost everyone associates it with a laboratory filled with test tubes, racks, and machines processing samples. Take a moment to think about the amount of information generated by all those laboratories. What do you think researchers do with the data they collect from the labs when designing their experiments? Curious about what happens with the data? Come meet us, and you can get a closer look at today’s and future science.

Through this workshop, we aim to introduce Bioinformatics as a discipline and provide some basic concepts we use in our everyday work. We will create a collaborative analysis flow through which we will circulate some data, and if you’re handy and interested, you can even assemble your own DNA helix in a very original way.
