Educating Future Farmers: Advancing Agricultural Education and Sustainability

This action aims to raise awareness and educate mainly primary and secondary school students about the importance of agriculture and agri-food, the opportunities offered by the agricultural sector and, in general, the promotion of agricultural careers. Through interactive workshops, educational activities and virtual tours, students will learn about sustainable technologies in land management, technology in agriculture, food safety as well as career prospects in this field. At the same time, they will familiarize themselves with terms such as sustainability, safety, sustainability, etc. Specifically, there will be (a) interactive workshops, (b) educational activities around global food security, pesticide use and food safety, (c) virtual farm tours (from field to table), and (d) discussions about career opportunities in agriculture and food.
