Mesopotamia: Education, Etiquette, Hygiene
What did students learn in a third millennium Mesopotamian school? What kind of table manners people had to follow? And what were the main hygiene rules? Participants in the event will undergo a learning path through 1) a digital version of the Manners and Etiquette in Mesopotamian Life organized at the Penn Museum of Philadelphia; 2) an educational training to learn how to write and draw on clay tablets (adults, teenagers, children); 3) the performance of an official audience with Sumerian deities (adults and teenagers); 4) a set of games (stencils and drawings) to know the most famous Mesopotamian deities.
