Mediterranean science visited the Orihuela centre on 27 September through activities organised by the MUDIC.
In the morning, several educational centres made visits to the Lonja, where they learned about the work of researchers, explained first-hand by themselves. The students learned about hydroponic crops, aquaculture, the properties of water, the Bernoulli effect, life from the point of view of people with functional diversity and domestic economy.
In the afternoon, the general public went to Plaza San Sebastián, where the participatory show “Water, necessary and surprising” was held, as well as a tasting of functional foods made from dates, accompanied by a wine and beer tasting.
