On 25th May 2023, in the Campagna Room of the Department of Political and Legal Sciences of the University of Messina, the first meeting of the Orientajunior project was held, organized by Maria Francesca Tommasini and aimed at primary school children, and held this year in collaboration with the MEDNIGHT project.

During this first meeting, 74 pupils of the Leopardi Institute and 20 pupils of the Catalfamo Institute, accompanied by the teachers Cinzia Ignoto and Ornella Palladino, listened to the reading of the story “The sphere of the empty library”, contained in the volume “Tales from the MEDNIGHT” .

Subsequently Alberto Randazzo involved them in a thematic workshop entitled “The right – duty to study to be good citizens”.

After the snack, held in the garden of the Department, the children took a guided tour of exhibitions set up at the “Borsellino”, “Falcone” and “Cingari” classrooms of the Department, and received a booklet of puzzle games as a gift, specially developed for them with the graphics and themes of the MEDNIGHT project.
