The University of Messina, where the university-prison centre is based, as part of the CNUPP, strives to promote arts-training courses involving inmates, students and actors, aiming to make the prison a place of culture through theatrical activity. During the “European researchers’ night” event, we will illustrate how it is possible to attain in-depth knowledge of prison through Theatre, presenting photos and videos of the theatrical activities already carried out thanks to collaboration with the cultural association D’aRteventi.
