New visit by researchers to educational centers within the framework of MedNight’s “Researchers back to School” activity.

On Friday, June 14, researchers and students from the Miguel Hernánez University carried out activities at the IES “Gabriel Miró” and “El Palmeral” from Orihuela. Through practical experiences, they trained the students about the composition of different soils, their properties regarding to water and vegetation cover, chemical composition and how they vary after a fire.

The researchers and students from the Soil Science and Environmental Technologies Group of Univerisity Miguel Hernández who taught the practical workshop were Luis Daniel Olivares Martínez, Hugo Nayar Yañez Álvarez, Delia Ximena Martínez Ramírez and Dario Ferrati.
