ZED: a challenge among players and algorithms in the car race of the future

Climate change: a sustainable lifestyle is essential. Electric mobility has become a part of our lives, and autonomous driving is the near future. The Zancle E-Drive Team of the Department of Engineering will participate in the “F1Tenth” in 2024 with a small model of autonomous car and in the “Formula SAE” in 2025 with a real racing single-seater. ZED provides the small model and a real driving simulator for a series of fun competitions among human players and autonomous driving algorithms.
