SOLVE THE RIDDLE
Rising temperatures and rainfall cause increasingly frequent and severe extreme weather phenomena, such as storm surges and floods, which lead to the crisis of river and coastal protections; among the consequences, the transport of pollutants, including plastics, into the sea, may threaten human health and marine biodiversity. The students will be shown a scale model in which we will simulate some of the above-mentioned scenarios. The students, divided into groups and supervised by a tutor, will find innovative solutions to limit the damage to the channel and the surrounding environment.
