How did people fall in love in the past (and why wasn’t it always pretty)?

By discussing written and audio-visual sources on love and love from different moments of the 19th and 20th centuries, the activity introduces the student world to a special field of historical problematic, the history of emotions. Her goal is to show that love did not remain unchanged over time, nor was it always expressed in the same ways, but experienced great transformations and, like all emotions, has a history.
