The Census of Italian Architecture from 1945 to the present day
The aim of the General Department for Contemporary Creativity (MiC) to define, through filing, a more complete picture of the complex history of architecture from 1945 to the present, was an opportunity to give Filippo Rovigo back a centrality in the Messina panorama that he deserves. In the broader context of the census carried out for Sicily, together with the Universities of Palermo and Catania, which involved a total of 46 works of architecture in Messina, the intention is to carve out a cross-section for the plural activity of this architect, who has moved between social housing, private residential, seaside, trade fair, entertainment and university buildings, with identity yet recognisable features in the scenario of Modern Architecture.

Three posters are proposed with a gradual focus on the work carried out: from a selection of works at a regional level organised according to peculiar aspects typical of the phases of the reference time interval (1945-present) to a presentation of the urban and architectural complexes surveyed for Messina, to an in-depth examination of the work of Filippo Rovigo with QRCODEs referring to the cards and scientific-disclosures developed by the group of researchers.
