About us

Incliva

INCLIVA was inaugurated in the year 2000 and since 2011 it has been accredited as a Health Research Institute by the Carlos III Health Institute.

The INCLIVA Health Research Institute manages biomedical research carried out by the Hospital Clínico Universitario in Valencia and its Health Department, as well as certain scientific excellence groups from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valencia and the IGENOMIX Foundation.

INCLIVA currently has over 500 researchers whose prestige is recognized in the international scientific community and it has invested in first-grade technology in order to develop high quality research, all strengthened by extremely well-organized Economic-Administrative Coordination and Scientific Management areas who have held ISO 9011:2008 quality management systems certification since 2012.

In the past few years the Institute’s activity has substantially grown, as shown by its development of several important international projects and in its participation in the main European Research Networks. Its contribution to international clinical trials also stands out, especially the work of the Phase I Oncological Clinical Trials Unit, with the Hospital Clínico Universitario in Valencia being one of the few centers in Spain which performs these types of studies.
