The 6th International Meeting with Schools was successfully held as part of the Mednight project. The event brought together students from five countries with young male and female researchers, fostering scientific dialogue and inspiring the next generation.
In total, more than 45 secondary schools and over 800 students participated simultaneously in separate online sessions held in Greece, France, Tunisia, Italy, and Turkey.
In the Greek room, the presentations were delivered by members of the Greek Women in STEM team, placing special emphasis on the role of women in science and research, while also inspiring and encouraging young students to pursue similar professional paths.
The activity was conducted online and included presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions, enhancing student engagement and interest in scientific topics. The strong participation, the variety of subjects, and the international collaboration highlighted the value of such initiatives in promoting science and encouraging youth to follow scientific careers.
